    Cristina Gutierrez came out of Way Point 3 behind Hedda Hosas in the JBXE but used the ENOWA Hyperdrive on the straight to pull up alongside her, then bravely carried the speed towards Way Point 5 and overtook Hedda around the outside.

    As they were leaving the Switch Zone, the X44 and Sainz cars were side by side but Fraser hit the ENOWA Hyperdrive button at the exit of the speed limit line in the Switch Zone, catching out Mattias Ekstrom in the Sainz car and gaining the lead which he never relinquished.

    Mattias Ekstrom caught Gray Leadbetter but could not find a way past, but after jumping across the road at Way Point 13, used his ENOWA Hyperdrive for the extra power to overtake around the outside of the Legacy M. C. driver through Way Point 14.

    The ENOWA Hyperdrive is a push-to-pass mechanism that provides a 30% boost of speed for each driver. Activated when the driver presses a button on their steering wheel, the ENOWA Hyperdrive will provide drivers with an increase in power for four seconds. The timing for this will be a key decision. Both male and female drivers on each team are given the one-use boost mechanism for every lap and are freely available to use it at any point on the course.
